I Power I National Conference Programme 2006
I Power I are pioneers of anti-bullying events for young people and produced the
first ever national conference in 2003. 2006 sees them produce the worlds first
international anti-bullying festival for young people
The whole line-up for 2006 is not mentioned here, we will have a few suprises for
you when you arrive. Upon arrival all Delegates will receive a special delegates
pack and choose some activity options for the day. Delegates are free to roam the
spaces at their leisure and no one will be forced to do anything they do not want to
do. It is a two day event and both days will have different activities and speakers.

Anti-Bullying workshops will include: Dance, Drama, Martial Arts, Beatbox,
Homophobia, Peer Mentoring, Computer resources and bullying, using puppets to
help tackle bullying, Massage in Schools, theatre, and Kick Boxing
Presentations will inlcude those on: bullying and the bystander, cyberbullying, racist
bullying, sexual bullying, bullying and disability, bullying and homophobia, bullying and
refugees, support group approaches, bully courts, children's rights, peer mentoring,
protective behaviour, massage in schools, empowerment, role models, and
child advocacy
On day 1 in the evening there will be the option to attend the national anti-bullying music competition held at the local youth bar (an ex night club) or an anti-bullying disco held at an alternative venue.
